I was told to leave the candy on the table because if I brought it down to my room we'd get ants

I did

the dog got up on the table and ate it

ALL OF IT

THEN IT SHAT ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND I HAD TO CLEAN IT UP ;_____; -drops dog off behind nearest questionable buffet-

In other news, I've become a complete Umineko whore. Like, seriously.
